It's so hard for me to just pick one, I have so many! I think my most favorite memory will be the day that I told her I was pregnant. I could sense her joy for me and the sincerity in her excitement. She was quick to come up with ideas for a name, since my due date was 7-4-11 she said I should name the baby Sparky if it was a boy. Sparky is his nickname and will always be. Kim, I am so glad that I got the opportunity to meet you and work for you. I am sorry that I am not physically there in order to help out with this great movement but I will do what I can from where I am. Just to make you giggle...do you remember the first time we went grocery shopping together?! I think about it every time I go into a Smith's, that was way too funny! Anika, I am so happy that you are back and thanks for loving her like I do :)
Kim was my sign language interpreter for Framingham North High School (now call Framingham High School). She terped for my classes and we did have some chats :) I remember this one so well - she said that she saw someone s license plate that read "10XNE1" and asked me to figure it out....I couldnt, so, she told me "Tennis Anyone". That stuck my mind ever since! After I graduated from HS, Gallaudet University and UMASS at Amherst - I became a teacher at The Learning Center for the deaf "Walden School" (still am!!!!)...She terped for IEP meetings, clinical meetings, and workshops! She hasnt looked like she aged!!! Always look young and on the go. I was sad when I learned she decided to move to UTAH, but she did say she was planning to come back...so I waited and waited.... I asked Eve and Lynn about you, and they told me. Now, there you are on FB! Wish I could go and visit to give you a hug but Im hugging you in spirit. Stay strong and hopefully something will fall in your hand a miracle! Will pray for you and love u! XO
